General Transfer Thread
Re: General Transfer Thread
We've got to have a look at Jordy Bos.
Attacking fullback who fills in at LM, LW, RB and RWB. And is a goalscorer. Great engine. Technically good.
I'm on commission. Defacto agent.

Re: General Transfer Thread
That will probably inflate the market even further now. Plus any financial issues Forest may have had are now completely wiped clean and they will be able to outbid us for any decent talent.
If we sell Ndiaye then let’s go for nothing lower than £100m.

Re: General Transfer Thread
just hope villa or newcastle dont offer megabucks for Bowen
hope we can get this lad - great attitude and gives 100% every game
he is 29 tho and maybe looking for a last big contract going into his 30s - we can sell barry and put the 10 mill towards a bowen transfer please

Re: General Transfer Thread
Theres no path to failure for them either. Spurs have finished 17th 2 seasons in a row and its had no affect on their ability to spend. Utd had a decade plus of mismanagement and were still as rich as anyoneblueToffee wrote: ↑Thu Jun 25, 2026 11:34 pm It’s ridiculous how tilted it all is.
Same clubs can spend all day long. Teams who try and catch up just stuck in a hamster wheel.
130 for Anderson though…I don’t get that at all. Bigger shame is it probably helps Forest avoid any financial issues and buy another load of players too.
Its not weighted in favour of. Its completely rigged to the point of no one can success their way in or fail their way out.

Re: General Transfer Thread
“During discussions aimed at checking the financial conditions of a deal for Guimaraes, it is understood a fee of around £60m was initially intimated with the 28-year-old's representatives”
“it is understood Newcastle have not yet had an official approach”
Is that not the definition of tapping up?

Re: General Transfer Thread
Don't actually think it's that ridiculous..? He'll turn 34 near the start of the season, and importantly seems to be pushing for the move too so Sunderland will eventually in all likelihood be forced to do business.
Add on a couple of mil maybe or some decent bonuses for Chelsea qualifying for the CL or some such and it'll be done I'd imagine.

Seems it was always reported that they were in an amazing position in terms of ffp. They make elite money but didnt pay elite wagesweimaranerblues wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2026 5:03 pm Christ , ain't got a clue how these are balancing the books

We had a chance to kill them off, at least for a year or 2 and didnt even try
Re: General Transfer Thread
They bought him for £13m last season, he was their best player and they got into Europe. Doesn't matter how old he is, £8m is absurd in those circumstances.blueToffee wrote: ↑Tue Jun 30, 2026 2:31 pm Don't actually think it's that ridiculous..?
