I mean, we had to play Mexico in Mexico City and should have had Brazil in the quarters.

France should have had Germany in the last 16 as well.

The best four teams are in the semis because they’re the best four teams.

In reality, when you look at how all those four teams have played in recent tournaments it was daft to look past them and put Brazil to win in every single bet you had.

Who would do such a thing like that.

That embolo dive.

Hahahahaha. Funniest thing I’ve seen on the pitch for a long time.

Oof yeah it's hard to see anything in terms of it touching it, but the way it suddenly drops in a very unnatural fashion is pretty conclusive imo... We got very lucky there, but as Tuchel said in his post match presser - to win a major tournament you need a bit of luck along the way!

You can see the way it suddenly drops and gathers pace on the way down though on the video. If snicko didn't pick anything up then it's clearly not fit for purpose.

Same as the Croatia equaliser, I will reiterate... He did not touch the ball.

ITV reaching BT levels for dreadful coverage.

Gabriel Clarke losing his head with his questioning last night.

Dixon and matterface just awful. Dixon mumbles his way through the game.

Then the talking over wonderwall with Pougatch saying “we don’t know if you can hear this at home” here’s Ian wright and Gary Neville to speak over it because we don’t hear enough from them.

Just awful. Glad I don’t have to watch England on there again for this tournament

Embolo's dive was embarrassing.

But so was Kane's too. I thought he was showing his age last night, played 120 but was gassed after the first half and ended up looking for any slight contact to go down.

In the run up to their goal I'm sure he was holding the leg that didn't get any contact.

There's a serious lack of consistency, if Embolo deserved a yellow then did Spence not? What about the Kane non penalty?

Are are the rules just only a yellow if it's a seriously blatant simulation?

The embolo one was such a ridiculous dive it deserved a yellow.

It also only got pulled up because the Argentina player was given a yellow and VAR can go back and overrule them now.

The Spence one wasn’t even a dive. He bought the contact but bought it a bit too much.

My interpretation of what Spencer did was he fouled the Norwegian by putting his leg across him in trying to buy a penalty, and dived.

He should have been booked for simulation imo.
