We scored 42 in 24/25 and he was involved in 10.

People have very short memories.
Seen more people claim DCL and even Deli Ali kept us up.

Don’t see the point in getting misty eyed over these average players.

One of the reasons we were in relegation trouble was spending money on players like Dwight McNeil

He was poor. Seems to only be able to play under a very limited manager giving him instructions to play in a limited way.

I’ve seen too many half arsed performances from the lad to be wanting to give him any well wishes.

Is what he is, not his fault.

Has been good value but we are now rightly trying to move on from players of his level.

Goes with my best wishes, but moving him on and us moving on is an absolutely necessary step.

Only in his last season where he refused to sign a new contract and went on a free.

He was slagged off constantly by sections of the fanbase for a) not being good enough to win headers, then chase his own flick ons and score worldies up against entire back 4s on his own and b) because he was into clothes and wasn't particularly interested in outdated notions of masculinity.

No wonder he didn’t sign the new contract then.

Maybe but my point was that he gets more credit for keeping us up in a season he contributed significantly less than mcneil
