General Transfer Thread
Re: General Transfer Thread
A good article on how Chelsea are able to spend so much and not fall foul of Premier League rules for those interested.

Re: General Transfer Thread
Arsenal about to go spend crazy too
£34m for Tzolis
£70m for Guimaraes
£50m for Konsa
They’re so hard up though they’re not sure they can match the £125m Atletico want for Alvarez
Quick someone start a go fund me for the poor bastards

Re: General Transfer Thread
Your reminder that Arsenal's record sale is still Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain to Liverpool for £35m. These clubs really are operating on easy mode.

Re: General Transfer Thread
Erm I just saw that Anderson was asked what city fans can expect and he said he wanted to emulate KDB

Re: General Transfer Thread
still think anderson would have been better off at manu rather than city
there is always a drop off of levels and success when a legend once in a lifetime manager leaves
there will be a vacuum there
rodri wants to leave aswell which fucks up citys plans having anderson and rodri play together
overpriced average player

Re: General Transfer Thread
Everyone raved about him at the World Cup but I didnt see it at all.
He got about the pitch, put tackles in, got on the ball quite a lot but didn’t do much with it.
I noticed him over hit balls over the top every single time he attempted them.
When Rice went from West Ham to Arsenal for massive money you could see he had the quality to be a success.
I don’t see that with Anderson.

Re: General Transfer Thread
James Garner dominated Anderson in the two games we played Forest last season. And like many, I don't even rate Garner that much, but I found that to be quite telling.
In a way it's a shame that Rodri is injured for quite a while, because I think you would immediately see a significant gulf in class between an elite player like Rodri and a solid Prem player like Anderson.
