Football doesn't have to be complicated, but at times styles and formations just doesn't help ...

Can't remember what formation Spurs played under Ange , but Steve Cooper got the best out of him at Forest , so just maybe it was Glasner's style didn't work

I’m pleased with his signing and think he gives us much needed balance. Obviously we are on a budget but he’s young enough to rekindle that form and he has something we have been crying out for, pace and a goal threat from the wing.

Now go and get me an attacking left back and sign Munoz

Hopefully it works out for him and us.

Not many straight swaps in football.

I don't think there's much downside. McNeil wasn't likely to be overly productive for us at any point in the near future so if Johnson struggles we haven't really lost anything but he clearly has pace and he has had a couple of purple patches in his career so, without being overly confident, it certainly could work out. Good luck to him anyway.

He has plenty of value in him so if it doesnt work out we can sell for a decent ammout. Given that Palace bid 20m for McNeil back in January thats the very minimum the market prices Brennan IMO.

He's been decent at every level he's played then for some reason he's struggled the last coupe of seasons. But he's a career 1 in 4 scorer and only just turned 25, if we can get him back anything close to that he'll be a great signing, I don't know how anyone can think this isn't a decent deal for us and a significant upgrade on McNeil.

I watched the first 2 minutes and turned it off. They are so scripted, predictable and turgid to listen to.

Its a gamble because of his recent form, but its a gamble worth taking especially when you take into account the player going the other way
