I just want Ndiaye to stay, Aznou, Dibling, and Röhl to get plenty of minutes, BJ to hit the ground running, Hackney to pleasantly surprise, Norgaard to be a classy rock, to get a really decent rb in, Branthwaite and O’Brien to be our cb pairing, and Barry to put all that post season physical training to good use on match days.

And Grealish would be a bonus.

Yep, that’s all I want.

*edit* I actually want Aznou to play instead of Mykolenko, but I might be wrong and he could be not ready for the epl/unsuited/or a bit shit, plus Moyes is unlikely to do it anyway, probably due to one or all three of the above being true.

It's starting to become a little more difficult to pick our starting line up, which is a good thing as there is some competition there.

I think we may still be looking to get 2 or 3 more though. RB obviously, Beto with a year left feels like something might yet happen there (either extension or sale) so maybe another striker in or we give Beto another deal, then there is the question of Grealish and if Ndiaye is off (those two might be linked).

Still a few sales probably need to be done too. McNeil was one, but still have question mark with Tim on his last year of his contract and questions about Alcaraz too.

Think we have the option to extend Beto for an additional year, so not quite as bad, but I'm not sure why when a majority of clubs are going for 5 plus years we stick to 4?

Ah ok, then yes that does take some pressure off.

Still wouldn’t bet against Moyes trying for Delap again. Particularly as Chelsea likely motivated to sell a handful more players before the window closes.

The Athletic say Forest are interested, but Chelsea want in excess of £50m for him.

£30m signing + 2 goals + 5 yellows + 1 red = £50m+

Every single player signed so far is a huge question mark, or we had them last year and they hardly played.
I agree, unfortunately.

Starting left back will still be Myko.....

Starting CB pairing could still be Tarks and Keane, if Branthwaite breaks down again and a new RB needs 'bedding in' or god forbid gets injured......

We've replaced Gueye with Norgaard, so still sort of the same there.

Hackney is untested at this level. Could be good, could not be.....

Ndiaye looks like he wants out and no Grealish yet. Could be going with George and Johnson. Dibling unlikely to be trusted to start. Risky.....

We still have Beto and Barry as strikers. Are they terrible? No. Are they great? Same answer.

Still many holes or weak links there. This is definitely not a great transfer window or even good. With a RB it will be average, maybe a bit more balanced.

If anyone pays £50m for him, the fraud squad should get involved

lol yeah that’s crazy.

You could see him at Forest though and they probably have money in their pocket from the Anderson deal. Another oversized fee.

Looking at the ins and outs, I think we're moving in the right direction, but we're still miles off.

I think we might have a slight issue with the fact Inter are already in for him... Apart from that I see no issues.

The other issue is there is no decimal point in-between the 2 and the 5

Think we all know I'm a glass half full fella. I reckon Norgard is a good signing and give us a different but valid Gueye replacement. Hackney yeah is untested at this level but no reason not to be optimistic. I'm choosing to believe signing George and seeing more of Dibling is indicative of them getting more time. Think Brennan is a different option to a player we all wanted gone as well. None of the moves we've made have been poor ones, we just need that right back, a statement like a Grealish or striker is just icing for me.

There's potential for loads of players to thrive this season, I haven't mentioned Rohl or Armstrong who both look like they could have bigger seasons, Rohl in particular. Last season most people were desperate for Alcaraz to play and he might not even get a look in. Reckon there's enough to point towards progress
