The body of evidence is there last summer players bought for him to develop and he never played them too conservative it will be his downfall with this ownership

Like I said above if he is being obstructive and deliberately not playing players who are ready then the club is at fault for allowing it to continue and he should have been sacked by now. Some of the players didn’t look anywhere near ready to be playing regularly last season to me. Dibling in particular has looked much better in pre season so time will tell if using him sparingly last season was the right move.

Yeah agreed, my hunch is this has been blown up somewhat, especially with Moyes being mute. I really hope it's not true, as it will just show that the new owners are just as bad as the last.

The good thing is that I feel we've done very good business so far this summer with very little outlay, so let's see where we are come the end of the window.

If right back at the very least isn't properly rectified again, we have every right to be livid as a fanbase.

Moyes has long been slow to introduce new players, especially those on the younger side or coming from a foreign league.

Honestly I want him gone just so we’re more entertaining to watch, but I expect to see a lot more game time for Barry, Rohl, George, Dibling etc this year now they’ve had their Moyes bedding in time

Maybe the ownership appreciate the opinion of someone with decades of experience managing at the top level? He also has to manage the team so should get some say but not the final decision. I’m sure his reservations come down to whether they can defend competently at this level and that’s the basic requirement. Attacking flair is a plus but Kyle walker has won the lot for a reason. There no time for allowing players to find their feet making mistake after mistake each week. This is the top level.

Forget Wan Bassaka but woukd take Bowen in a heartbeat, Stones as either a massive upgrade on Keane/Tarkowski but mainly as cover for a very fragile Branthwaite, Grealish for the obvious, nowt wrong with that.

Is Moyes the right man to bring these young players through you think he will start Armstrong dibling George or Rohl this season only if there are injuries we have exciting young players really talented that need to be put in and trusted but I think Moyes won’t play them

Maybe, maybe not. His history as someone noted earlier includes many a young player. But still that's just one KPI. And when there were largely better and more proven players in the squad why would he have necessarily?

Blending the kids in slightly more slowly than an expectant fanbase's hopes isn't a problem.

Barry, George and Röhl all look to be progressing nicely, even Dibling looks better. They look hungry.

Moyes is currently the 4th longest serving Premier League manager - at 18 months!

We probably still couldn't sack him now as it'd still be too expensive.

And he's kept us up twice and managing us well enough at this point, gaining stability where outside forces still had a downward momentum when he took over due to years of desperation and 'all or nothing' final 90mins of seasons.

Who would you be replacing him with right now, holistically, and why? Consider all the decision points.

I'm not completely sold, but I'm satisfied enough that we're heading on the right track.
