That's what he said - straight out.

By his comments you will also probably see O´Brien at right back and probably Armstrong in midfield sending Hackney to the bench.

Worst of all - he doesn't want a right back just to get a right back - he wants someone that makes us better. Saying that some of the deals was off because of injury tells you all about Moyes thinking that Alistair Johnston is that kind of a right back. No wonder we extended the contract on Mykolenko. I would like to tell Moyes that I rather see O`Brien at right back than wasting money on that Celticboy.

We will win tomorrow - but for god sake - I am allowed to be negative - Moyes has to cheer up and make his squad believe in themselves!
Not sure anyone is saying you can't be negative, but the overarching vibe in the preseason has been overwhelmingly negative, and even the good points are being tarnished by negative predictions. Hackney has looked good and played consistently all preseason, but will definitely be on the bench for the foreseeable, for example.

I'm happy with the business we have done, but not happy with the squad and the business we should have done, namely a right back and I'd agree that right now we might still be a signing or two away from where we need to be to truly compete for europe, especially as spurs will probably be back in the mix.

It's possible to be happy about some parts and unhappy about others.

To summarise, sign a right back.

Looking forward to

Barry
Dibling
George
Aznou
Rohl
Armstrong
Hackers

Obv any/all could become zero minute flops or major boo boys within a few games but also pleasantly surprised by looking at it on paper the young talent I’m looking forwards to seeing.

It almost feels like the whole tone of the season ahead rests purely on whether he plays Rohl or Jake at RB doesn't it?

Have you changed Davie? Have you?

And considering they way he was talking about Hackney then every chance it's Rohl at CM and JOB at RB sadly. If he managed JOB at RB and Rohl at RW then god help him

That will be the clockwork Beto/Barry 60min sub of this season.

As well as the above too.

He wouldn’t dare

He could blindside us all and play an actual RB at RB…

I think he plays the same lineup as the last friendly. There’s been no further injuries since then, if he was going to play Rohl in midfield and O’Brien right back he would have done it vs Lille.

George vs Dibling is the only question mark for me, the rest of the team is set
i hope he picks that team as it seems balanced
it just seems so right for the players we have available right now
i would definitely go for george to start rather than dibling
