15th and 5 points clear of Luton... Heady times!!!

It would be cause for celebration of we didn't have the second charge hanging over our heads.

Just need to make sure between now and whenever the 2nd charge kicks in, that we put a 6 point buffer between ourselves and whoever is in 18th. Plenty of games between now and then to ensure that a 2nd deduction won't matter, providing it's no bigger than 6 like.

This is it. As long as we get more points than Luton between now and the end of the season with the current 5pt start, and a better GD we've at least got a chance with the same 6pt deduction. If we've gone more than the same £20m over in the second period then we've no excuses for whatever we get tbh.

I'd back us to get more points than Forest between now and the end of the season whilst we'll finish above Burnley and Sheffield United, so us having a point more than Forest gives me confidence.

They've looked poor here like, but they have enough quality to get out of this.

Some tough fixtures coming up but ultimately they'll be fine. Mbeumo is back next month and him with Toney, Maupay and Wissa should keep them up.

People have been saying they’ll be fine for months now.

Toney coming back hasn’t seemed to make them any better.

I think they’ve gone stale and now everyone has caught up with their methods in the transfer market they’ve hit the ceiling.

Whatever happened to the booking fiasco with him?

Was he ever tried for that?

Just realized Ramadan is coming up soon during some very important fixtures. Is there actually evidence of players who are fasting performing worse or not so much? Worried about our midfield trio during Bournemouth, Newcastle, and Burnley.

There have been studies done, and they seem to range between 'yes' to 'the jury is still out'. I'd imagine there'd be alot of work put in to ensure any change to performance is minimal these days.

"Performance declined significantly (p<0.05) for speed, agility, dribbling speed and endurance, and most stayed low after the conclusion of Ramadan. Nearly 70% of the players thought that their training and performance were adversely affected during the fast."
Impact of Ramadan on physical performance in professional soccer players, Zerguini, 2007

"Ramadan, along with the corresponding changes in nutritional habits, sleeping schedule, and socio-cultural and religious events, significantly increased overuse and non-contact injuries in fasting players despite the fact that the training load, strain, and duration were maintained."
Injury rates in professional soccer players during Ramadan, Chemari et al, 2012

The flipside is that if it gives players a +5% psychological edge throughout the season, then perhaps it's a good trade-off?

And by the same token there'd be a few others who'd be carrying stodgy English winter diets, including extra helpings of Christmas Pudding, around the time of busy December schedules to consider.

The science behind performance management of athletes must be an interesting field.

Go on the site and there should be some on resale hopefully.

With this being our first 3pm home league game for a while it might be harder than usual but that’s your best bet.

Failing that just go on social media and see if there’s any knocking about.
