He pops up every transfer window and stupidly I still look at his rumours but I'm FAIRLY sure he's not got a good track record tbh

Not a big baseball guy but I think this guy is seen as a bit reluctant to spend cash? If it was at all true though, you'd think he was heading up a consortium more than bankrolling.

£200m Image & Rights Media
£140m MSP
£190m 777

Moshiri wants at least £500m

Then whatever stadium funding still required

A billion doesn’t get you very far at all
Pretty sure your figures are slightly out.
Not sure total for R&MF but MSP I thought was a little bit lower (£130m) and 777 is I believe a facility up to around 150m of which we have used around £120m.

The thing is moshiri isn’t getting anywhere near £500m and leaving the debt behind. he will be lucky to get £300.

The 777 money is basically an advance so if the deal is done it will come out of what moshiri recieved. If/when it doesn’t succeed against moshiris equity. So for arguments sake he gets 500m he will need to pay 777 back with it.

It’s about 100-150m to finish of stadium.

So you are looking somewhere in this region

500m to moshiri but he pays back 777 out if that
200m to R&MF
150 MSP
150 to finish stadium.

There is your £1b that gets you a practically debt free premier league club with a 5-750m asset in the new stadium. That’s if you can’t negotiate moshiri to either take a lot less or pay the debt off himself. And that’s before you sell the naming rights to BM.

When you talk about £1b it sounds crazy for the current position we are in. But in reality a huge chunk of that is a brand new stadium. Which is going to have multiple revenue streams and help drive the asset of the club forward. That’s not a terrible deal tbh.

Phillipe Auclair has said on twitter that "£1bn is the generally accepted view of what it would take to invest in Everton" and is not from the source themselves.

Speaking as a big baseball guy, we'd want to swerve on Hal.

Could he be any worse than moshiri or 777?

Sounds like 777's current lender is reversing position rapidly...

They seem like they're on the verge of collapse so it'll be absolutely bizarre if they are deemed fit and proper... But if course it's the Premier League we're talking about here, and they've just been made to look like idiots with our points deduction.

So... Welcome to Everton 777!

The cynic in me suggests Masters will pass these just to fuck us over.

Severely hope not.

Hicks and Gillette Mk2 like them across the park.

We'll just get assest stripped to death and never own the ground.

Hopefully not but I can't for the life of me think how the passed the FA test?

Even if Masters passes them in a couple of weeks it then has to go to another one of those famous “Independant panels” to be ratified which I bet will take us until the end of the season. If they had a fraction of the mullah that Jim Ratcliffe has the deal would have been done months ago.
