Re: Dyche
Beto misses a great chance, then misses a penalty.
We scored, McNeil misses a great chance, they equalise.
We have one off the line... Again!!!
They scored a worldy despite us being well on top and creating numerous chances.
Not sure how anyone can really complain about Dyche today, everything was fine apart from our desperate inability to put the ball in the net at hugely important moments... No manager changes that because the players at their disposal would still be absolute shit the bed panic merchants.
Good performance today, undone by a worldy... Ok Garner sealed the win for them but if that ridiculous outside of the foot volley doesn't happen we'd be coming away scratching out heads as to how we only got a draw. Just shit luck and poor finishing because overall the performance was good.

Re: Dyche
It's hard because I'm obviously seething here but in the cold light of day we aren't THAT bad. We're just really bad at finishing.
2.6 v 1.6.
Same old shite story.
Just fed up of existing as an evertonian to be honest now.
It's too fucking hard.

Re: Dyche
Maybe start coaching how to defend set pieces as well as score from them we are starting to leak goals and at the moment we are ok because other teams are getting beat but if they wake up and go on a run we are in trouble
Re: Dyche
Even if we could just be bad at finishing but get an average amount of luck it'd make a massive difference.
We have numerous shots that somehow get cleared off the line (Spurs, Palace, West Ham in just the past few games FFS!), and then somehow the opposition score a ridiculous worldy that 9.5/10 wouldn't even go anywhere near the goal.
I know blaming luck is usually a shit excuse, but feels like the ball desperately wants to stay out of our opponents goal by any means possible, and wants to fly in to ours in whichever outrageous way it can think off.
Re: Dyche
I don't think we created loads of amazing chances today but I thought we played alright tbh. Palace was 90 minutes of kicking it long but at least we tried to play today.
It's been a season where everything seems to have gone against us. Soucek doesn't even have that goal in his locker.

Re: Dyche
When there is such a contrast in any situation it usually indicates a problem. In the first half we looked devoid of ideas, strategy and execution. This is relegation form and Dyche needs to find out why? Same squad won game after game following the deduction, now we look gone.

Pens are .76 so 1.84 v 1.6777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Sat Mar 02, 2024 5:15 pm Wouldn't the penalty be about .66 so we'd still be ahead. Plus why you taking the penalty off. Could add another 1 on instead
Congratulations we won by 0.24 of a goal. That's a draw.
