Put it this way, if we don't and we've learnt nothing from the last few years then we deserve everything we get.

Ive no energy for it me self because it's so obvious tbh.

We are a very very very poor side.

Dyche is a very limited manager who is doing the job he's been asked to do. Right now, in this moment, he is doing an objectively bad job.

We are not going to like it, but chances are he squeezes enough out.

Sooner we can move on from the whole debacle the better but I wouldn't hold my breath.

Fucking hell.

Because we were for large parts in control of the game getting the ball in good positions.

The Godfrey thing really isn’t that much of an issue.

I’m not sure the result changes with Coleman or Patterson in there.

We didn't lose because Ben Godfrey was at right back.

Two defensive mistakes today but the guys in attack are rock bottom in terms of scoring goals. It’s properly worrying how bad we are in turning our possession and chances into goals.

There isn’t any real belief that we will score in games. It’s a shame as we continue to play decent football and create chances, but if you don’t take them then games just pass you by.

I think it’s probably 60% the players, 40% Dyche. Ultimately it’s down to the players to finish chances, but Dyche has to tweak something and find ways of changing the players mentality, not just bang on about it in interviews like a broken record.

Bingo.

Very comfortable game for a poor united.

Our lack of creativity in the final third is shocking. Defence goes to bits when they step up as well.

Poor game for the manager that one I think regardless of the shirt of the opponent.

This is where xG falls over, where it gives no context of who took the shots.

We have one, genuinely creative player (Onana). He won't be here in two years, maybe not in 6 months. It is an immense problem. One that won't magically disappear when we move on from Dyche.

We simply make poor chances from poor play. We win the ball high up and suddenly realise nobody has any idea where the ball should go.

Compare that to how many times united got in to Pickford in 1,2 passes. They had a pattern and repeated it. We lump it in the box, blocked shot from 30 yards, and repeat that until we lose it.

United were more dangerous from our possession today then we were. Waiting to break every time.

Yea there's defo something in the creating lots of poor quality chances.

Would take three 0.3xg chances a match above 10 0.1 xg chances. In theory same expected goals but not sure thats what plays out in reality.

Can't under perform xg this much for this long and there not be an underlying issue.

Still should be scoring more though, that McNeil chance end of the half was bad finishing imo and not something a coach can solve. We do simply need more goalscorers across the attacking positions and midfield.
