Re: Today's Football 2023-24
I watched the last 15 of the match so so it... Looked in real time a penalty all day long, but one looks on replay showed the classic stick your leg out and kick the keeper to win a penalty trick.
Keeper may well have caught him had he not done it, or he had the chance to slot home albeit with defenders around the goal if not, so was a very strange decision to contact the keeper himself.

Just seen this.
What the fuck.
Thats honestly incredible that he got away with that.
Also, on Saka..... if i was an Arsenal fan i would be absolutely fuming with him. Why the hell does he not just score? Instead of throwing himself into the keeper like he is in WWE??
Re: Today's Football 2023-24
Tuchel's said the ref told the Bayern players it's was an error a kid would make and he wasn't willing to give a penalty in a quarter final for something so silly... Which is interesting.
Even my under 9s team know not to do that, but I'd understand if the ref let it go because they're kids... A player handling it in his own area from a pass by the keeper in elite football? Nah ref's had an absolute mare.
It's amazing common sense was applied to the situation, it's almost something worth praising... But it's not the rules and you can't just call it a school boy error and carry on like it didn't happen on a champions league quarter final.

Meh, I'm glad it wasn't called a penalty. If that was Everton then I'd want DCL hitting the corner flag if a penalty was given to us for that*
*Unless it was against Liverpool obviously.

Ahhh neither of these matches are as interesting as last night. PSG v Barcelona I guess. Can't stand PSG though.

Feel like Anthony Taylor could get punched in the face and he wouldn't give the player a second yellow card.
