You know he won’t change though why give him the most important game of the season he will start young again Keane will be back in which I would rather than Godfrey but we know what will happen few chances early on miss them forest score crowd turns toxic try and play for an equaliser

I have been a backer of Dyche and what he is trying to do.

But he seems to have lost the squad now. Losing 6-0 isn’t something you really come back from unless you are Moyes and have just qualified for the Champions League and so no one cares.

Will support him and the squad until the end of the season as always and hope that that we have enough to survive. However, next season we do need a new direction and I fully expect him to be gone.

You can criticise an absense of logic in an argument, whilst not defending one side or another.

Like in this post for example.

I can’t get behind the sack him and bring in vibes shouts.

Only realistic option for me is Carsley if he’s willing to do it with the under 21s gig.

Absolutely do not get Baines in. It won’t work in the way people expect imo.

Was thinking about him the other day, but pretty sure there's no way Carsley comes in, as much as I'd love it.

We just don't have the pay-off cash, he wouldn't risk the reputation he's built, and I'm not sure the old-boys thing would work to convince him.

What’s worse paying off this guy or going down because I can’t see us winning again under him our last 3 goals were 2 keepers errors and a penalty

Paying off this guy and going down.

We might just do enough to stay up with dyche.

There’s no guarantee a change will make us better especially with the limited options out there.

It’s a huge risk and one I don’t think we should be making, unless a magical name becomes available which is highly unlikely.

For those saying that we should sack Dyche, that’s just not going to happen, and nor should it at this critical stage. It’s not feasible or realistic.

In the summer, we can re-evaluate and do what we like. But for now, this is what we have, whether we like it or not. There is no magic fix.

I think if anything, the 6-0 loss makes us more likely to go and put in a performance against Forest.

That was an embarrassment for the players. Its unlike anything we have seen from them, and they will feel terrible about it.

I don’t buy the fact that players don’t care. Of course they do, they were just humiliated in front of 40,000 people and the TV cameras.

They will go again, and they will be up for it on Sunday. And they need to find a response. And most importantly enough quality to get 3 points.

Yeah.

I absolutely hate him now, but stick with him, too much faff between now and the end of the season.

Just hope and pray and cross everything you can physically cross that we limp over the line.

Re: Dyche

Just heard an interview with him where he's sort of scathing of the back 5 and Onana and Garner... Especially the last 2 where he mentions people dancing around them and them not anticipating or putting in any tackles, and I fully agree with him.

However that's not the only issue here, we had seemingly no one anchoring the midfield and defending the spaces Palmer was dropping in to, instead we relied on Branthwaite coming out of defence which left us horribly exposed if he didn't win it.

Now was Branthwaite coming out because the midfield weren't doing their job? Maybe, but probably not seeing as we've seen Branthwaite do this lots recently and so it seems to be the tactic Dyche has instructed.

How or why he thought that would work against a Chelsea team with an insanely in form Palmer in the 10 position and rapid pace in front of him I have absolutely no idea... It's baffling.

He also mentions having a go at them which will now feed in to his fear of having a go at teams around us, so the Forest game will be hugely negative and probably see us on the back foot throughout with long aimless balls forward all game.

Not sure I put myself through that tbh

Good post mad that he didn’t put Doucoure back into midfield earlier to give us more numbers there branthwaite didn’t know whether to come out after palmer or stay where he was very poor coaching imo

Its gonna be an unbearable run in.

Unless he proves me wrong he'll continue to pick Garner and Young.

Just got no confidence at all in him.

Re: Dyche

Not going to focus too much on Dyche anymore in terms of his performance or who he picks and why. Just want the 11 players on the pitch to perform and do well for us.

Unless he miraculously turns this around between now and the end of the season, then I don't think he will be here next year.

Even more so than before, I am just focusing on the 90 minutes that we have each week to get 3 points. Everything else surrounding the club is far too stressful, complicated and uncertain to worry about.
