Personally wouldn't mind the club doing a bit of modern commercial activity myself

Doubt there’s any profit/payback on a trip to Australia or USA, might sell a few more shirts that’s it.

You tend to get paid 7-figure sums to appear in one of those tournaments.
But our star isn't exactly shining bright enough to get an invite maybe?

Moyes always had his best seasons after the American camps and everybody came back raving about their effectiveness.

They’re doing them because they have massive fan bases out there and can command top dollar for participating, we can’t.

I’m definitely worried, but I don’t think about it much as there is nothing I can do about it.

Thelwell will do what he can. There are too many moving parts at the moment, but KT and SD will do all they can and we just have to hope it is enough.

I assume we didn’t get an invite because when the tours were getting put together we were too close to relegation. Not as strong of an advertisement to end up promoting 3 PL clubs and 1 Championship club.

I do wish we had a chance to defend our Florida Cup Champions title. 😅

Adding our points deductions back we would have finished comfortably mid-table. I can see a repeat of that with possible small progress.
Be cool or be cast out.

Might be able to have a clearer picture when we see the players we have available

They have T shirts here that say “There are no kangaroos in Austria” apparently aimed at the U.S market !
