The only pic I got with him whilst we were doing the kit event .
Got one of me him and Paddy boyland knocking about somewhere too , it was Campbell who said to do it too. I'm not one for all that me .

He was always fucking boss man .

Absolutely devastated.

My first game was his first goals against Coventry

Loved him ever since and that love grew when I was lucky enough to go to an ex player night of his where he was brilliant with us all.

We loved him, he loved us.

RIP.

This is just terrible news.
It can’t be understated how important what he did for us was at that time. A true gent and a huge loss. RIP Kev.

Ah man I'm gutted. What a guy on and off the pitch. He brought me that glimmer of hope during such shit times as an Everton fan and practically saved us from the drop on his own that one season.

I met him in Cardiff once and he couldn't have been a nicer guy. Rest easy big guy

There's a two part podcast interview with him that I've listened to and it's a great listen. His time in Turkey was wild.

Gutted. A top player and a top bloke popular with every club he played for. Gutted.

Everton hero. Saved us the year he came on loan. Seemed like a good person too and had real love for our club. Hope us and arsenal get together and give him the send off he deserves

Awful news. Great player and by all accounts an even better human being. One of the earliest memories I have of Everton is him scoring at Newcastle as well. he'll be missed for sure.

I took this pic of him at the 125 year kit release, him and Sharpe it was, had a proper boss day with him and Sharpe like, I made a comment about how good he looked because we're the same age, may have been a few expletives included, and how much of a fat mess I was, he just chuckled and said " no one saying it to you though "

Fucking boss fella and this news has hit me hard

Everything you want from a player.
