Richarlison would have to be willing to accept an insulting paycut to come back.

Reigning in an out-of-control wage structure sucks but I’m glad we finally seem to be committing to it.

According to most sites he’s on £90k a week, if only we could afford the transfer fee.

Premier League pissed off about the academy transfers loophole and looking at potential investigation into breach of “fair market value” rule. Possible points deduction ?

Nice idea but it’s pretty difficult to make something stick in that case. You should show them Jordan Ibe’s £19.5m sale to Bournemouth in 2016.

Hahaha yeah, this is so transparent.

What they’re saying is clubs outside of the Sky 5 should be good little serfs and sell their Branthwaite’s to the top clubs for relative peanuts, because those big boys make the most money for the EPL and Sky brands.

But if we dare to refuse to do this and just trade players between ourselves to defeat their unfair financial rules you will face our wrath.

Nah, they can't bring a change of the rules in and then punish people subsequently for exploiting a situation that was within the rules at the time.

They'll just look at closing loopholes, similar to the Chelsea 8 year contract situation. Chelsea weren't punished, but they weren't able to do it anymore.

Thought he was more of a right back?

Presume he's a wing back then.

Lukjancik for Kabore with some further PSR padding before it all gets shut down then?

What is fair value for a footballer?

I wouldn’t say £10m for Dobbin is particularly excessive, given that he has made quite a few first team appearances and Simms went for £8m and played less. I would have actually liked to have seen Dobbin play more this year, so £10m is quite fair given that he was a useful squad member with decent potential.

Plenty of transfers for young players in the £10m mark being made. No chance that the PL can do anything about it.

Seems like we're constantly struggling to keep hold of our promising youth prospects outside of us actively selling them for PSR purposes.

It never used to happen as much with youth contract players being poached from us... I'm guessing the lack of first team opportunities and shite loans has really caught up with us now.
