Have you just give us a Yannick Bolasie scout reportbrap2 wrote: ↑Wed Jun 26, 2024 3:41 pm He's a bit mad technically isn't he...like he's got quick feet but he's very bobbly and shinnie.
Reminds me a bit...of how Davies uses to run with the ball? Like similar build and not quick, low socks and winning free kicks, but obviously has some skills.
Certainly doesn't look like an Olise or benrahma who at that level were like obv super silky, or zaha or someone who was just so explosive...just sort of like quick feet and jumbly.

Re: Iliman Ndiaye
He went to professional level quite late (at 19) so in theory he’s got more development to do than your normal 24 year oldbrap2 wrote:Very stumbly and bumbly but he gets through, presses like mad and gets on the end of stuff. I really like the look of him, will be exciting if not super slick.
Re: Iliman Ndiaye
Apparently Bobble has said on their podcast thing that Ndiaye has completed his medical. Just a question of PSR timing around completing the deal now I guess.

Are these recent enough for you?
I was just taking the piss with bakayoko
I do think this guy will be very meh tho
He is slow clumsy greedy, take a look at his highlights and there isn't much in there to get excited about
Granted we need players in so it's fine I just don't see him as an upgrade,
I am pessimistic but the last few years have give me reason to be

Re: Iliman Ndiaye
After watching a few highlight videos he reminds me quite a lot of Richarlison. He does use skill to beat players but it’s never super clean so it’s more like he fights his way past, Richy was the same.
Looks like he can carry the ball forward well like Doucouré and will put a shift him so I see the fans taking to him.
I think he’ll be a good solid signing if he stays like he is, anything above that is a bonus

Re: Iliman Ndiaye
His end product looks well ropey from the YouTube clips, but we couldn't work out a way to play without Doucoure last season, and I think with this guy we now have that... We've seen with this team under Dyche that the system is the most important thing and when an important piece is missing it all falls apart, fingers crossed this lad solves the Doucoure issue.

Re: Iliman Ndiaye
I think he's a bit more technically gifted that Richarlison, and seems to enjoy playing through the middle of the pitch more. I can see the comparison in running style and physicality. He seems to have a decent weight of pass from the clips, and 11 assists in his last season for Sheff U (in addition to 14 goals) seems to support that.
Don't think he's good in the air, so we can't afford to be lumping it long to him.
I'm quite excited by this one.

Re: Iliman Ndiaye
Yeah that's a point, if we sell DCL we have Beto who isn't a target man and Chermiti who is too inexperienced to lead the line full-time.Bluedylan1 wrote: ↑Fri Jun 28, 2024 7:24 am I think he's a bit more technically gifted that Richarlison, and seems to enjoy playing through the middle of the pitch more. Ndiaye looks like he can play a through ball, which compliments Beto's strengths, but if we want to play direct to the striker to hold it up, we really need to bring in a target man.

Think he will do fine though.
Offers something we haven't got currently.
