Re: Euro 2024 Discussion
Personally think it's absolutely insane to pick Trippier over TAA for right wing back, and none of the good managers in club football would dream of doing that. The position is perfect for him to attack and to cover his defensive issues with Walker behind him.
Re: Euro 2024 Discussion
Has Trent ever played that position before though?
I think it’s the right call, especially with Saka at LWB.
TAA can’t be trusted positionally when in other roles.

Re: Euro 2024 Discussion
Trippier had played RWB for Southgate before so no surprise he's in ahead of TAA... Looking forward to this even if I have zero hope of anything but an enormous and nail biting grind.

Re: Euro 2024 Discussion
Yeah I don't feel like that tbh. I'm massively bored with club allegiances being involved in international games.
Re: Euro 2024 Discussion
Doubt TAA is the difference between England winning and losing this match tbh, even though I think he's the better choice in that position.
Think it's a bit of a farce that we're in the QF of a Euros, he's been in the job 8 years and doesn't have a clue what his best team is.

I’d love to agree, but I’m pretty neanderthal still when it comes to the shiteBluedylan1 wrote: ↑Sat Jul 06, 2024 3:18 pm Yeah I don't feel like that tbh. I'm massively bored with club allegiances being involved in international games.
