Re: General Transfer Thread
I think the Ederson stuff is just his agent angling for a pay increase because he's ''only'' on 100k a week. Does seem very low for an integral player in a multi-title winning team. Andre Gomes was on more.
Re: General Transfer Thread
Ortega is a pretty decent replacement for him if he goes though. It's hardly like there will be a massive dip in quality if Ederson does decide to fuck off to Saudi. Not saying Ederson is shit, he's a very decent keeper. More that they already have a more than able replacement at the club.Bluedylan1 wrote: ↑Thu Jul 04, 2024 2:39 pm I think the Ederson stuff is just his agent angling for a pay increase because he's ''only'' on 100k a week. Re: General Transfer Thread
Good "benchmark" signing this.
United can look at this if they want to low ball us regarding Branthwaite

Re: General Transfer Thread
Is there some angle to the Kilman signing that I’m not seeing?
Even if he continues to be a good player it looks like a massive misuse of money to me.
I support the West Hams of the world spending poorly, mind you.

Re: General Transfer Thread
I really rate Kilman. We paid £25m for Michael Keane and Yerry Mina 5 or so years ago, and Tarkowski was linked to Newcastle for £30m+ a year or two later, so Kilman for £40m seems to just be following that level of pricing.

Re: General Transfer Thread
Maidenhead United picking up £4m sell on fee. Potentially transformational for a non league club that.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.
Re: General Transfer Thread
Bayern following up £47m for Paulhinha with £60m for Olise. Must be lovely not to have been run by a lunatic and his mates.
Re: General Transfer Thread
I'm sure I read that they had a bigger % but agreed to halve if as Wolves said they couldn't do the deal otherwise.CannockPricey wrote: ↑Sun Jul 07, 2024 3:53 pm Maidenhead United picking up £4m sell on fee. Potentially transformational for a non league club that.
Either way it's a great example of how sell on clauses can be life savers to some clubs.

Re: General Transfer Thread
It is true. The Non League Paper said it was initially 20% but they agreed to 10% which still left them picking up £4m
