Today's Football 2023-24
Re: Today's Football 2023-24
Yes, James with a goal and 2 assists yesterday.
Wand of a left foot. Colombia through to play Bielsa's Uruguay in the semis who beat Brazil on Pens.
Terrible Brazil team, and the match itself was very aggressive, bad tackles and not much quality on display.

Re: Today's Football 2023-24
This seems bad form from the club. The club has got the money, the fans have paid the money, so if they choose not to go, or are u able to go because of the ever changing kick off times then to not allow them a season ticket seems shite. 6 games is easy to miss, but the 3 their allowing this season is ridiculous. We'd probably miss that half the seasons we had season tickets at Goodison.
Re: Today's Football 2023-24
The wording is a bit confusing. Were the 24 people banned for not attending the matches themselves or failing to put it on the ticket exchange and the ticket therefore not being used at all?

Unless we're missing something that is the logical conclusion.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.

Canada with two great chances towards the end against Argentina. 90th minute. Only just put it on, but Canada look good.

Lost 2-0.
Difference in ability really showed at times. Overall not a bad game - created some chances and didn't let Argentina control the game.
I think we saw some issues with how Marsch set his teams up with such a high line. I think we will do well against the weaker teams in Concacaf but it might not work as well against teams that have so much more talent than us.
Positives are that the team is very young - 6 of the starting 11 are under 25 and 4 of the 5 subs were as well. A few of those players need to leave the MLS soon to improve but certainly a few have stood out and there is interest Europe. Ismael Kone could end up being a star - he just moved to Marseille from Watford this summer but he's got all the tools to be a dominant 8 in the middle of the park. Looked really good at times last night.
Not too many negatives, would have been nice to see our best players (Davies and David) step up. David in particular was quite poor.
3rd place match against either Uruguay or Colombia will be another chance to test ourselves against good opposition. I suspect we might see an even younger starting 11 for that match.
