I’m probably one of them if the dele deal is right.
£50m is a fair price. He’s not been the player you think he can be for us.
That’s just a fact. He played himself out of a bigger move.
Looking at him for us he’s a player that believes his own hype. For someone so big he doesn’t impose himself on games enough, goes down too easily and thinks throwing his arms up to the crowd is what we want to see. Big losing any sleep over this

Wowwww £50m is the best deal on the market for a player of his ability. Pants absolutely down.
We've got fans who can't wait to bin him off saying resign Dele
We'd probably get £70m for Branthwaite if someone was willing to pay it... and he's played a whole lot better the last 12 months and imo has a higher ceiling.
I'd say £50m sounds about right, especially given we've not even managed to get a bid of anything higher than £45m + 5m add ons for Jarrad.
Not upset to see him go - it’s the sort of move we need to be making to progress in the short term, no reason why we can’t get a similar player in for a lot less outlay
I think it probably says a lot about his time here that nobody is really gutted that he's leaving and I don't think there was ever much heart in this transfer. We bought him to make a profit further down the line and he came here seeing us as a stepping stone and has ended up with a CL team. Never hit the heights with us but you'd imagine he'd fit well into a Villa team under Emery, whether he steps up to the plate is a different question.
Not remotely arsed. Thought he was largely crappie. Was dropped from the team and we put a good run together. Obviously some of the stats seem to tell a different story but probably didn't enjoy watching him more than a handful of times in 2 seasons

I think a lot of people are going regret this.
I think a lot of people are going to be insufferable in 12-24 months time saying 'Look, we should have kept him' when it was never a practical option. He was always going to move on. If we keep players for the length of their initial contract then we've messed up again. Buy, sell, repeat.
