We have a sell on clause as well so could still make good profit in a few years time.
Amadou Onana

Re: Amadou Onana
Will the sell-on make much of a difference? I can't imagine him ever being close to a £100m+ player or anything. Might get a couple of million from him I suppose.
Re: Amadou Onana
Hope so, would be a great signing for us at the right price. Some signings need to be experienced and think he would fit nicely into our midfield and offer a goal threatCozzie wrote:Just got a horrible feeling he's gonna get McTominay in ya know.
Re: Amadou Onana
You're forgetting that he would no longer be playing for Man United and therefore wouldn't get away with the amount of yellow card bookings he currently does. Would miss half the season with us!
Re: Amadou Onana
Not being funny but that’s a pretty decent deal

Re: Amadou Onana
I think the Caicedo fee has skewed our perception of what is a good fee. I just think that was a mad summer from Chelsea.
£50m - £55m is still a massive fee for this club.

Re: Amadou Onana
I think it’s mad to suggest he’s worth more than that.
It’s a good deal.
Good luck to him.

Re: Amadou Onana
He's not worth 55m for us and we should ideally be able to replace him for less but at the same time his stock is at an all time high and I believe we can easily get 10 odd million more for him. Still a very good deal for us.
Re: Amadou Onana
There are only so many clubs capable of paying £50m for a player and if those clubs don’t need a DM, then that will also impact his price.
Re: Amadou Onana
There's one person who definitely isn't getting screwed in this deal: Bobble's new wife.
Re: Amadou Onana
Not sold on him myself. Reckon it will be a pretty safe, unimaginative signing if we where to bring him in.
Been wrong before though.
