I'm a little confused. So TFG have invested 200M themselves? I was under the impression they'd pre paid part of the debt off

So do we now also owe them 200M? Who are the creditors, I'm lost with it all now.

TFG paid off MSPs debt and then put a bit more into the club to pay more stadium bills.

Apparently their takeover of roma fell through initially before taking them over.

As per @TheRam post above
I think this was when football was closed down due to covid, so there was loads of uncertainty. Romas revenue was massively down and the club wasnt worth what they initially agreed. They obviously did get the deal done, at a discounted deal, but that was largely due to covid

Uncertainty is uncertainty. I'm blindly choosing to believe this is the exact same situation and that it'll all work out happily.

What a fucking piece of shit July 2024 has been. Can't wait to see how it manages to escalate.

Kieran Maguire says that, as well as the 777 loans, the Friedkin Group couldn't get an agreement with Moshiri for his shares - he wanted £50m, they offered £1.

That from Kieran Maguire is about as positive a spin as you can put on the entire situation at the moment.

Suggesting that the club is "reasonably cash strong" is a big statement. Especially when you then immediately go on to say that we have enough funding for the next few months only and that in a few months we will also have another prospective owner. This also assumes that the prospective new owner will overlook the very same issues we have had with the TFG dropping out.

I mean I am a fairly rational person who likes a little optimism from time to time, but he has some seriously rose tinted spectacles on when viewing this particular situation.
