Re: Jake O'Brien
Good. Hope they bank on it. In fact I hope they put so much money on it that it shortens the odds, so more of them see it and more of them bet on it. Then I hope they all cry about it when they lose their money. Then I hope they all cry when they come to Goodison and he is the star man in a winning performance.Kerryblueboy wrote: ↑Sun Jul 28, 2024 7:15 am United fans online convinced this means Jared going to them some really sad idiots out there

Re: Jake O'Brien
I can’t say I’ve ever seen him play. Seems like a nice lad.
Clearly a longer terms replacement for Branthwaite, if not sooner as Utds new signing Yoro is out for a while…

Re: Jake O'Brien
Would have preferred Greaves over him. Pace seems to be an issue for him. With that being said, it is a much needed signing in a position of need. Hope he comes good for us. At this price it’s a great deal regardless.

Re: Jake O'Brien
If he's deputizing/apprenticing for Tarks, that's great. He is right-footed, yeah? Branthwaite on the left is our pace, I think we'll at least get 1-2 more seasons out of him.

Re: Jake O'Brien
Just thinking if 3-4-2-1 works as Lindstrom and Ndiaye play centrally as second strikers/10’s.
Pickford
O’Brien Tarks Branthwaite
Patterson Doucourè Gana McNeil
Ndiaye Lindstrom

It's the year that Dyche finally goes full Pep. Four centre backs in defence with inverted full backs running the game in midfield.

It's the natural progression as his evolution of attire shows, croupier, trackie, and inevitably into knitwear.Bluedylan1 wrote:It's the year that Dyche finally goes full Pep. Four centre backs in defence with inverted full backs running the game in midfield.

Re: Jake O'Brien
Branthwaite is going nowhere. The only place to report him being remotely unhappy was some bloke with the Manchester Evening News. Man United have tried to pressure the move through the media and failed hilariously because it's not 2008 anymore.

Re: Jake O'Brien
75m+ and we’ll sell. I can’t see them having egg on their face by paying it tbh. He’s here next season I reckon. We’re buying a long term successor to Tark and not a replacement
