If true, i suspect that might be more agent led rather than player, and he wouldn't be doing his job if he didn't. But let's be honest, and I know the sum's are astronomical for most of us, but if you were offered 160k a week and your employer blocked that move, albeit Man u had a hand in it too by not paying the fee we wanted, then subsequently offered you 110k to say sorry, it might not sit that well?
Of course his agent has been in his ear. That's his job, to maximise his client's earning potential. What is wrong here is that £160k has been bandied around as the figure that a club who had not agreed a fee and therefore had no permission to even speak to the player were offering him. Of course his agent is going to be demanding parity, with no regard whatsoever to the fact that his client is under contract and his employer has no intention of releasing him from that contract until such time as their valuation is met.
He showed last season that he is a fantastic player already and will only get even better, but I don't think that it's in Everton's best interests to show their arse and throw massive money at him right now. An improved contract, yes, but in return a proper commitment from the player and his agent that they will respect the contract that they are signing.

Apparently has had a little op.
In his post match interview yesterday Dyche ran through all the injuries, Chermiti, Garner, Doucore, Keane, not a mention of where or why Branthwaite not there.

… watching the above for the nth time, half-waiting for a moray eel or something with sharp massive teeth to spring out and snap a chunk off my fingers.
Big movement on sky bet about him going to Liverpool from all accounts?
If true I'm hoping it's just that no money has been placed on him for a while and someone has thrown a tenner so the odds have moved. Someone's seen it and backed it and then it's snowballed from there
