According to the Bobble we offered him a small increase in wages from what he is on. There was no mention of what he currently is on or if that would make him a higher earner than Pickford who currently is our highest earner.
At this point I don’t think he will sign since while he may get a lower amount per week, he will get a massive signing on bonus. Wouldn’t be shocked if the Newcastle breakdown was a conversation that took the Chelsea/Barkley approach.

He does look very fun. I’d like to see how he does with his back to a fullback though because he looks very slight but face him to goal and it’ll be exciting. It could work well in our low block turnover transition machine Dyche has developed though because tussling with fullback is less essential

Such a shame we haven't got the wonga for this lad. He'd be ideal, RB can comfortably cover CB.
