Blimey, who are the 12?

I’m going to guess:

Pickford
Patterson
Mykolenko
Branthwaite
Tarkowski
O’Brien
Iroegbunam
Garner
McNeil
Ndiaye
Beto
Chermiti

Dya reckon toffee TV have a bit of an anti dyche, dyche out slant?

Saying Nuamah turned us down because he didn't want to play on this system.

No one to sack the fella is there, so no chance of anything happening in that area.

Oh yeah. They’ve had the knives out from the start.

Totally believable what they said there though, especially after the start to the season.

I am actually impressed there are still fans on this forum that have eloquent words, or indeed any words left.

I didn't watch the game as I was at a wedding. I am so glad I was. From what I gather, we played well but then completely fell apart. It should be an extremely rare event, but with us, it doesn't feel wholly rare anymore.

It's so difficult to know what to feel about us anymore. I find watching us play a chore. Combine that with not getting results and it's getting to the point where I am starting to hate it all. I don't particularly find any enjoyment out of football, as that has been drained out of me over the past few years.

I do salute the football fans, not just of our club, but in general, wherever they might be across the globe, supporting their club through thick and thin.

It isn't the threat of relegation that worries me, but the threat of ceasing to exist. Going down to the Championship would be horrible from a sporting/competition standpoint, but at least we would be the big fish in a smaller pond, and start winning games consistently again.

I know it is unlikely to happen and that our amazing fans would pull out through whatever sticky situation it was in. The club going bankrupt worries me more than any on the pitch result, however it's these results that then exacerbate the worries over our adverse financial situation over an increasing relegation threat.

As for Dyche, well he has his positive and negative sides. I don't really like his football, but I understand that he probably won't be sacked at any point and so I feel pretty ok with him staying just to do his best. Very melancholic.

Sorry for the rant.

He ain't getting sacked. It's not even that big a decision to sack him given he's in his last year but who'd make it..... then the big decision would be a contract of around 15m for the next manager over 3 or 4 years... who the hell would make that decision.

Right now I just don't care. Its everton. Its all just different shades of shite... fucking hell though let's not pay dyche a year then commit to 3 or 4 years of fucking motes just cos he did well a decade ago. If we are going to make a change then actually make a change (not that we can make a change cos we've no one in charge)

I know I'm in the minority but the weekend really didn't annoy me much. It's an awful 5 minutes but it's the most I've genuinely enjoyed us play in a long time.

I just hope Dyche takes the positives and doesn't go back to Pickford-DCL being the main passing combination.

In a way it would have been worse if we were just plain old useless. We should have won comfortably at home against a mid table side....we just....had a mad one.

I think that's the problem. We were genuinely really good and we still found a way to lose in the most ridiculous way possible. Its a constant cycle of shite, unlucky and plain crazy. We don't seem to get anything but shit now whatever we do. Everton just isn't a source of enjoyment anymore. We should have gone into the international break confident of a decent season having had an enjoyable Saturday. Instead we are a laughing stock again. Honestly it just makes me a bit sad. None of us get enough free time to be filling it with stuff that makes us a bit sad

He's had a pop at the fans and on Saturday he's thrown his players under the bus. Usually when that happens there isn't really a way out for anyone.

That type of result brings a visceral reaction.

But, you’d rather that game than limping to a 2-0 defeat.

Think long term it could be really damaging though.

We’ve had one too many of these now. We can’t ever be 2-0 at Goodison and feel comfortable.

We'll be gone from there soon. Feels like a cursed ground.

Except we went through the same last season. Nothing will change this season and we won’t be relegated, that's my prediction for what it is worth.
