Folks who know about sports science: today is it possible to have a good idea of the state of the players fitness long term, for example if they’ve had 1. A run of Bad luck with injuries. 2. An underlying issue that’s not going away. 3. Cheese allergy (I had something else for 3 but very tired so just put cheese for now).
So like with Broja and DCL will we have a good idea or is it just based on guesswork and inuition.
The simple answer to 1&2 are closely linked….the psychological answer to 1 could be he’s that good the only way to stop him is to foul him…hence the constant injuries…which links to answer 2…if any earlier injury hasn’t been treated correctly and fixed over time correctly then the chances are the injury will keep occurring and subsequently become repetitively worse every time it occurs…easy to highlight it’s a repetitive injury is if it happens concurrently to a different injury or just as the other injury is healing…ie look at doms record…..
3. Again basic answer he must have something ability wise otherwise with these injuries would premiership teams still want him ?
He gets less injuries cos half the "fouls" involve him falling over when somebody looks at him. He has mastered the I'll stop in front of somebody and get a foul from it
Just gonna chuck this out theoretically speaking of course, but just for the sake of a discussion.
Do you reckon Broja buries at least one of those one on one's Dom had?
I don't know an awful lot about broja in this regard.
Is he more adept at 1 on 1 finishing? Any stats out there to back this up? Probably too small a sample size to judge from as he hasn't had a lot of game time or scored enough really.
Interested to see how much game time he actually gets when he's fit.
I don't really rate him that highly from what little I have seen like but I'd chance he's a much better option than Beto.

Forgot he was at the club.
It popped in my head yesterday we had signed a player who was injured and his club were paying his wages until fit and it took me a good 5 minutes to remember who that player was.
I guess with all the crazy shit that's been happening on the pitch it's easy to forget about a loanee who's injured and hasn't kicked a ball yet.
