End of Moshiri - Friedkin, APPROVAL AGREED
Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin Purchase Falls Through
Didn't give Textor the time of day anyway tbh. Bloke hasn't even sold his Palace shares yet.

Textor still has exclusivity at the moment right?
Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin Purchase Falls Through
Textor needs co-investors. I wonder if Friedkin sees Textor and Aliya as reducing the risk around the debt restructure.

Perhaps Textor and Friedkin could combine to form an entity with a very tasty multi club model, at which we sit at the very top. Reasonable feeder clubs.
RWD Molenbeek (Belgium), Botafogo (Brazil), Olympique Lyonnais (France), AS Roma (Italy) and Everton (England)
But at the moment I just hope we don't crash and burn. I wouldn't mind it if Friedkin could take control of the 'spade stick' and with safe hands carefully guide this ageing british legend and relic, this gliding Supermarine Spitfire into a soft beach landing, as he did in the movie Dunkirk.

Don't think he's ever been granted it? Not that we've announced anyway.
Friedkin pulled the same move with Roma when buying them. Let's see if it comes off this time. Could be movement behind the scenes with ACap and what they're owed and how it's structured.

Textor sells Palace shares
Moshiri sells to Friedkin
Textor left with nothing

Interview by Giulia Bould with David Hellier of Bloomberg from 7:52am on BBC Merseyside this morning - sounds very positive re. Friedkin Group coming back in, suggests it is indeed Textor's noise that has revived their bid, and that a deal could be done by Christmas. Interestingly the story was picked up by Bloomberg's credit market team, which suggests there is some activity happening around finances.

I dont get the hate for Texlor and love for Friedkin, what am i missing?
Yes, Texlor is gobby, but I thought we wanted to move away from an owner that appoints A list manager, like Carlo/Mourinho or sign players that are past their best on huge wages like James/Lukaku etc. Surely there are more benefits for us being linked with the Texlor portfolio of clubs than getting Roma cast offs?
"I won't be involved in the Europa League play-offs not only because I was fired from Roma. The problem is that I was dismissed by people who don't understand football at all,"

Sounds great but unlikely. Textor wants out of Palace because he wants sole control of a club doesn’t he?Cods wrote: ↑Mon Sep 16, 2024 10:35 pm Perhaps Textor and Friedkin could combine to form an entity with a very tasty multi club model, at which we sit at the very top. Reasonable feeder clubs.
