Re: Dyche
I don't think there is a winning run impending this time around, the first run came when we had a points deduction, then second was after the 6-0 battering at Chelsea. Third time unlucky for Dyche. He'll be out on his ear at the next international break

Re: Dyche
dyche out - moyes in ASAP as INTERIM manager till the end of the season - see how it goes and make a full time manager decision then - hopefully with the added attraction of managing a club in the prem with a state of the art designed ground
Re: Dyche
He does have a pretty good track record of taking interim roles, plus hes hardly in huge demand, most of the world has moved on from managers like him, unfortunately were still stuck in the dark ages.
That said, I dont see why we would even approach him, hes said numerous times he wants to be in control of the recruitment, and thats not what Thelwell wants, so know idea why he would be approached.
Re: Dyche
You're very generous! Some managers try to protect individuals and talk about collective mistakes. Dyche said, "lets cut to the chase" straight away - when the reality is we have 25% possession every week, dire XG, GA and breaking records for opposition making passes into the final third. Your interpretation is he didn't blame DCL, mine is he's defecting and did. I just wondered what DCL thinks.TheRam wrote: ↑Wed Sep 18, 2024 2:14 pm Dyche wouldn’t be the first manager to say what he said.
If a team misses big chances in a game they lose managers will always mention it.
I think we all know this, but now the tide has turned on the manager we’re picking up on everything he says.
He said last night the fans have been amazing and he’s not going to get into questioning them over the boos last night.
Not one comment anywhere on that. It’s just all about sticking the boot in anywhere we can at the moment.
Even at 3-1 I doubt we would win with these damning statistics. Agree to disagree.
Re: Dyche
Let's all remember that Moyes had similar stats to those posted about Dyche when he was in charge of West Ham... It's not like we'd see some revolution of play under him. It would be extremely similar just with a more acceptable face.
I'd get behind the Dyche out shouts a lot more if the alternative was actually something different.

Re: Dyche
Can't really argue with anything in there, has has actually done a great job under extremely difficult circumstances. But he does need to find a way to improve the current form because regardless of the credit he should be due it's draining very rapidly.

Re: Dyche
Deserves lots of respect for what he's done but ultimately he will have to go if he can't still do it
