God help us, I can't believe we are "big" enough for Southgate's career trajectory but then again money talks. I'd rather take my chances with Dyche.

I like Potter, there's no way of knowing which way they'll go though, other than looking at how they only waited 4 games to jib De Rossi. Would we need a complete overhall of the squad to suit Potters style of play? He's the complete opposite of Dyche

I think Potter will be a disaster as well but would be more than happy for him to come here and prove me wrong.

Dyche, Moyes, both competent managers who can play under restrictions (which even with new owners we'll still be under for a while yet I imagine). The best thing about Moyes too is he still has an eye for a player and most of West Ham's improvement came from identifying players like Bowen who could take them to better levels. We're never competing with the elite in terms of money so with FFP we still have to be able to identify the players who maybe have flown under the radar a little.

Southgate would be Lampard mk2. I'm a little undecided on Potter, I'd wonder if we need a little more stability and structure in place first.

Honestly, I know he has got a lot of flack recently, often for good reason, but the game against Bournemouth (aside from the 6 min shit show) does make me wonder if Dyche given proper resources could actually have us playing ok. I'm always interested in how any manager who is competent but often playing under huge restrictions in the transfer market can do when given a little more to work with. Doesn't always work out (Moyes at Man Utd) but Howe and Newcastle did surprise me a bit recently for instance. IF Dyche wants more time though, obviously he has to be able to turn things around short term.

Keep Dyche to the end of the season, pretty sure we'll be fine this year even though we've not started well. We've played well enough to be on 4-5 points really, it's just some short periods of games that have cost us.

I'd give it to Potter in the summer though. I know people worry he'd not have the players here that he'd need, but I think we've only got 13 senior players on the books after the season ends anyway so we're looking at a bit of a reboot as it is. Sell Branthwaite and give the cash to Potter to build something.

So long as there is as absolute certainty that Dyche coaches out his contract, and nothing more. I'd rather a slow, measured process than a hasty one that ends up with someone "famous."
