They’ll be some games I can’t get to so wouldn’t mind lashing it across to people on here, even Brap, if I could but don’t think that’s possible anymore?

I want to come over with my son from the USA and watch a game this winter.
What I'm hearing is: membership is your only real chance, and even then, it's a slight chance. Does that sound right?
I'm trying to work out how people have done this in the past. I'm guessing I'm not the first person to come from overseas to watch a game. I don't know how the hell you can books flights, but then not know if you will get tickets. Anyone with past experience able to weigh-in?
What about away games - are those a better option?

Thanks all.

There's not a chance in hell to get tickets to away games unless you work it out with someone who goes regularly.

Just get memberships, be on the site at 10am on the day they go on sale.

You won't get loads together but 2's are fine.

You may have to get restricted views.

These guys do match and accommodation packages, they're quite expensive and many sold out, but still a few games are availabile...

I'd say you'll be very lucky to and will have to jump all over it when they go on sale to membership peeps. I've got tickets last week for me and my lads for the Fulham game and it's the first time I've managed it this year through the scheme

You'll need to get logged in about 9am even though tickets go on sale at 10am, if you log in nearer 10am you'll be way down the queue and have to wait. Once you're in you'll probably just need to grab what you can, Lower Bullens and Main Stand/Top Balcony are probably the best to try, chances are it'll be a restricted view but we got restricted view seats in the Main Stand against Burnley last season and they were a great seat, pillar in the way of one goal but other than that the seats were decent in line with the 18 yard box.

Might be wrong but that Spurs game might get moved for TV as well, if so they may not fill the away stand so you might get a decent seat in the Upper Away section but I would think Spurs will fill their allocation and not hand any back.

So I'm going to try and get tickets for this tomorrow for me and my kid.
What do you guys reckon I should go for as far as location?
My boy is 16 so he can handle himself, but I don't want it to be an unpleasant experience with foul mouth abuse going off all the time. Not sure if that's a thing these days. At the same time I want it to be fun and maybe it would be better not to be sitting in a quiet area.
Gash was saying Lower Bullens and Main Stand/Top Balcony.
Any thoughts? Thanks all!

Lower Bullens and probably upper Bullens will be the away section, Spurs only. Not sure how it works but the “re sale” section is updated daily as people put their tickets back on sale (like I did today) so keep an eye on that too.

Is stubhub not an option anymore or is it just expensive. Good few tickets on it for the Villa and Spurs games. Starting about £100 though

Yeah I know it's not going to be pretty, but this will be one of the few chances I will get to take him. Also, last season at Goodison and all.

I didn't think there were any legit options for tickets other than through the club.
