Let's just wait and see the list of massive clubs that come queueing up for his signature in the summer. I can't think of any top sides that DCL would even get a place on the bench at on current form.
Sure, he's great at holding the ball up. Other than that, what marks him out as an elite striker? His finishing? He's absolutely fucking woeful one on one with a keeper. When was the last time you saw him bury a one on one chance? When was the last time you saw him bury a chance from outside the box? In fact, how many have you seen him bury from outside the six yard box? How many times have you seen him roll a defender and bury the ball in the back of the net? If it's a chance on goal that he doesn't have time to think about, then he's fine, but to be a quality striker, you need a lot more than that.

He'll get a move to a surprisingly big team imo just purely down to the fact he'll be free. Wouldn't be at all shocked to see him putting pen to paper on a contract at Arsenal or Chelsea.

I'm not sure they'll pay him much more than he's being offered here. No name recognition. No recent record. They aren't going to offer anything outlandish.

This is why I don't understand the claims he's not arsed and not trying. He absolutely needs a good season here if he wants a good move. He's done nothing for years. It's not a good time to have an awful season

I personally think he’d be a great signing for Arsenal. Mikel seems to want to stick with Havertz as kind of a false 9 but his finishing and decision making is poor. Dom’s strengths are in the air, hold up play, and 6 yard box poaching like under Ancelotti. It would be very low risk on a free and gives them a different dimension at least when the starting 11 can find a breakthrough. They’re crying out for a goal hanging target man like Haaland but with better hold up play. Obviously Haaland is a much better finisher. Sometimes I think they run out of ideas when they can’t get in behind teams so a Giroud style option on the bench could be the difference maker

I thought someone like Man United would get him on a free when talking about this in the summer, but can’t see that type of move now. He’s proving himself a bottom half (at best) PL striker.

I think Newcastle would be a bad move for him because Howe likes his players to do a lot of running so his injury problems would quickly come back. He may well end up there though
