I think people need to have a look at what the alternatives were.

They have their own money and a lot of it and will be clearing a lot of the debt.

All the other jokers were scrambling around looking for pennies behind the couch trying to buy us.
Just hope it's not three lemons.

I hope the Roma situation doesn’t mean they are going to take their time with Dyche. He is so done.

No danger, the Roma situation is because they fired a fan favourite after only four matches, they will be more than aware that Dyche is no fan favourite and that we fully expect that he will be gone at the end of the season latest.

It's far from being the worst option we could've had, but it's far from hitting the jackpot.
Hitting the jackpot, from a football perspective, is Newcastle or City, unbelievably wealthy owners that will put people on place and allow them to do their job. TFG might well do that, but evidence would suggest they won't. They're opportunists that have taken advantage of our position in the hope they'll get a return in a few years imo. There are benefits for us in that, so it's a positive as it will secure our financial future and should see more stability off the pitch and hopefully move up the table, which realistically is a decent outcome for where we are.
But I do think their tenure will be filled with a Moshiri like scattergun approach to managers, DoFs, signings etc that will eventually start to wear

That’s what I am worried about! I want him gone the minute they enter the door in December.

agreed - clearing the debt is a major part of getting everton back on an even keel and getting us out of the mess we are in provided by moshiri & bill kenwright
and if TFG want to use the chelsea/abramovic approach to achieve success at everton by replacing managers until they are successful so be it

Chelsea worked because of the circumstances, they could throw money at whatever they wanted and were by far the richest club in the league at the time with no spending caps. Thier success was largely built around their ability to attract the best players and the best manager.
We have FFP at the moment, but even if we didn't, I'm not sure TFG even make it into the top 10 wealthiest owners in the league? We need stability, and a strategy to succeed, and to be really smart in the market with a shared vision and goal, hiring and firing will get us the same place it did with Moshiri, a fucked squad that eventually falls apart as manger X down the line is left with a really disappointed squad

Don’t see the point in firing him in December unless we are adrift in the bottom three

Without becoming an advert for the Middle East this is as close to hitting the jackpot as we could have got.

They will be good for us and leave us in a much better place than where we are right now. That’s the hope anyway.

If things are a bit chaotic on the pitch then so be it. We can still be relatively successful if the right structure is put in place.

Wouldn’t mind a European trophy amongst the chaos tbh.

Considering the only others that came around sniffing our asses were absolute shysters? Yeah, this is the best we possibly could have gotten.
