Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin, IT'S HAPPENING!!
Why would it be true. Why would someone be entitled to more than their entire contract in compensation. It makes no sense
Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin, IT'S HAPPENING!!
Likely be a clause Moshiri inserted based on his cracking business sense.777Kidnappings wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2024 9:35 pm Why would it be true. Why would someone be entitled to more than their entire contract in compensation. It makes no sense

Fuck's sake, that's a horrible deal. It literally encourages him to be shit. No way on the planet Farhad pulls the pin on that fucker then.Bluebridge wrote: ↑Thu Nov 28, 2024 8:51 pm Someone posted on here the other week that, if we sack him, we have to pay an extra year’s salary.
Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin, IT'S HAPPENING!!
It's a managers protection against a trigger happy ownership.
It's not unheard of in football right?
I'll take the job but if you pull the trigger before the contract is up I get x y z.

It is totally believable when you see how we’ve conducted our business over the last seven years.
Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin, IT'S HAPPENING!!
They gave Allardyce an 18 month contract knowing full well he wasn't getting anymore than the remainder of the season he came in. It's much the same thing.

Don't sack him then, just reassign him to steward duty.

Ha ha, would still count as the same thing, his contract stipulates his position, but would be hilarious seeing him selling programmes or something.Evertonian in NC wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2024 1:59 am Don't sack him then, just reassign him to steward duty.
Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin, IT'S HAPPENING!!
Pretty short sighted if that's he's train of thought, I could be shit and get a 10m pay off, or I could be good, and get a new 5 year enhanced contract worth about 30m!!

Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin, IT'S HAPPENING!!
after reading cozzies post i think it makes financial sense to stick with dyche till the end of the season
poss 10 mill taken into account in the PSR rules if we sack dyche - jeez
and if we sack dyche and the new manager fucks up and we get relegated - doesnt bare thinking about - TFG would possibly pull the plug on us if we are not in the prem
i would stay with dyche till end of the season even if it means putting up with the current style of turgid play tactics we are enduring atm

Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin, IT'S HAPPENING!!
Doesn’t make much financial sense if he gets us relegated
Re: End of Moshiri - Friedkin, IT'S HAPPENING!!
I think realistically, he's completely checked out.
Knows he's not getting another contract, has no love for the club and no relationship with the fanbase, had his fill of the shite and the pressure that comes with a big engaged fanbase rather than a tin pot club where they name a pub after you for finishing 17th.
He's just trying to not lose games so he can walk away and say nah I did ok, they're fucked.

No, I think he’s done and everyone’s fed up of him. It’s all miserable, lacking ideas and gusto. Think he sends us down. His defensive, passive aggressive way of being now must be abrasive to anyone that had an interaction with him. He’s probably wounded he’s not been considered for a new deal.Evertonfc15 wrote: ↑Fri Nov 29, 2024 8:31 am after reading cozzies post i think it makes financial sense to stick with dyche till the end of the season
