I have to admit (and I hope this changes in time), I am far far more sad about leaving Goodison than I am excited about going to BMD. Maybe i'm just a miserable old get.
In a world full of adversity, we must still dare to dream.

Wouldn't say far far more but definitely more saddened by Goodison going than excited about BMD on the horizon. Will be tough to see it getting knocked down. Special place.

If we had anything to shout about at Goodison in the last thirty years I would probably be more sad about leaving. As it is good memories are so distant that I'm really not feeling very attached any more.

I don’t feel that sad about leaving Goodison.

I’ll be sad when the times comes to leave it as I’ve had a lot of great memories there. Even during the shit times, the community aspect of being at a football match always trumps whatever happens on the pitch.

I actually feel sorry for people who don’t like football as they’re missing out on so much.

I’m happy to move with the times though. Just want what’s best for the club and moving into a new ground is what we need.

I think it’s great for us to have a ground right in the heart of the city in such a great, historical setting.

It’s going to be great. Just for a fan aspect, having the stadium within walking distance from town will make the experience a lot better.

I’m sick of county road. Proper moody place and you’d never think of going into any of the boozers round there if the match wasn’t on.

Plenty of time to resolve that issue, hardly a disaster.

It's a disgrace that we expect the team to win the derby on Saturday playing in a wet building site without a proper pitch and no goalposts.

It'll be fine, it's just one of those Test events in preparation for next season.

Derby Day away section: Operation 'Kopite tears'.

Tbf the rain we had yesterday was mental. Knowsley lane by our work was all flooded and so was parts of Deysbrook.
