Relegation Battle
Re: Relegation Battle
Wolves and Leicester have both made ropey appointments. Not saying it can't work but the equivalent of playing roulette and hoping for the best.
Re: Relegation Battle
I'm hoping the takeover can act as a positive catalyst to kick us on.
Forest at home will be key as I can't envisage anything next 2 games.

Re: Relegation Battle
Yeah, I was quite surprised seeing Leicester against Brighton. Fair enough they did well to come back so there is that, but man they were soooo open throughout that game and were very lucky to not be down by 3 or 4. I think I heard they'd conceded 72 shots or something on goal in his first few games, which if true wouldn't overly fill me with confidence if I was a Leicester fan.
Not going to go too hard on him though as it's obviously early days and maybe he's not got everything how he wants it but they did have a slight air of Southampton's recent naivety about them so far, just with a more potent attack.
As for Wolves...who knows. They have some talent there so of the clubs in the bottom 3 I think they have the best chance to dig themselves out of trouble but as for the manager it's wait and see I guess. Seems like he's done well some places he's been and poor in others.
Re: Relegation Battle
Thankfully Ruud looks crap but 3 points between us and Leicester.
Bournemouth A, Villa H, Spurs H for us
Villa A, Palace H, Fulham H for them
If they've got anything about them then should be at least level with us after those matches.
Wolves have tough fixtures themselves.

Re: Relegation Battle
Porto guy has done well but I don’t know if the new managerial bounce for Wolves will continue.
Southampton and Leicester losing again is great and Ipswich should continue being in the relegation zone. But we can’t keep relying on those teams being crap to get us out of the relegation zone.
Expecting some big decisions from the new regime

Cant win if we can't score.
Players are bad, squad composition is bad, but not bad enough to not be able to score at all.
Take out that Wolves match and we have 2 goals in October-December (11 matches).
It's all well and good being solid, it will mean we pickup points, but we absolutely need to win matches and we can't do that at the moment.

Re: Relegation Battle
It’s the same as the past few years really, hoping there are three worse teams than us, or more realistically three teams who pick up less points.

I don't trust Dyche with any new signing plus I think he's putting players off joining us

Re: Relegation Battle
Yeah, it's really precarious once again.
Would feel better if we could add a decent player or two in January.
Going to be a long grind and hoping low 30s is enough in all likelihood.

Re: Relegation Battle
Assuming Ipswich hold on to beat Chelsea we’re right back in it and the fact we seem incapable of scoring is a major concern
Re: Relegation Battle
Really worry that we're sleepwalking in to this at the moment. I think Southampton and Leicester are likely so shit they won't catch us, but Wolves looked to have turned a corner. Are we really just relying on Ipswich running out of steam like promoted clubs often do in the latter half of the season?
