Yep, but disappointingly Sergio Conceicao is going there, so he's not an option

Re: Next Everton Manager
Let's hope it's no one we suggest. We are almost as bad as moshiri at picking managers
Re: Next Everton Manager
Shame we don't have the old forum. I remember the excitement of the new manager thread when were appointing Moyes' successor. How times change!
Re: Next Everton Manager
I am vaguely excited by the idea that it’ll be someone besides Moshiri overseeing this.
Also anxious because I remember how swiftly Moshiri announced his lack of vision with Koeman and frankly, hiring three new managers in a calendar year at Roma doesn’t inspire much hope (whatever the politics are behind the scenes).

Re: Next Everton Manager
We need to go all out and get Silva back. Taken Fulham as far as he can, give him a nice pay rise, he's proven before money talks, so TFG need to get it done, simples

Re: Next Everton Manager
I don't think Silva is going to want to come here. Yes money talks but we are probably a couple of good years away from competing with Fulham and our ffp problems are still here. He'd get a better offer than what we currently are

Agreed, he did the exact opposite and we've not looked the same since.sam of the south wrote: ↑Sat Dec 21, 2024 8:40 pm Yeah, he shit himself.
It’s a shame he didn’t decide to focus on and refine the performance of the first 80 odd minutes.
I'm seeing more and more players arguing on the pitch too, which is rarely a good sign.

It felt pivotal at the time, didn’t it, and not just in terms of the result or the psychological impact, but more what’s transpired, with him making us retreat even further into our shells.UnsyisaRhino wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2024 5:56 pm Agreed, he did the exact opposite and we've not looked the same since.

Re: Next Everton Manager
I really don’t think he is too far away from the sack, but should he scrape a couple of wins together, then they might just prefer to leave him in place until the end of the season.
From next season, it should be a completely fresh start. New stadium, new owners, new manager and a new outlook on how we want the club to move forward and play. In no way should Dyche be apart of that future. For now, it’s all about avoiding relegation, which I am sure Dyche will feel most at home with.

Re: Next Everton Manager
Could have happily lived with that first 80 odd minutes of Dycheball as I thought we were really good but what’s followed since (and I don’t just mean the last 10 minutes v Bournemouth) has proved he’ll never be good enough.sam of the south wrote: ↑Mon Dec 30, 2024 7:01 pm It felt pivotal at the time, didn’t it, and not just in terms of the result or the psychological impact, but more what’s transpired, with him making us retreat even further into our shells.

Allegri in the summer
Dyche or caretaker until end of season
England U21s don't have a game until June 2025; Carsley available on a temporary basis
