If he’s going to stick with his trusted defense-first fullbacks, I’d like to see what it looks like with Ndiaye moved centrally for Doucoure, McNeil wide left, and Lindstrom wide right.
It’s not that I think dumping lots of crosses into the box is a good strategy, more just an acceptance that Dyche isn’t changing so we may as well have our best crossers in those roles (bonus points for McNeil and Lindstrom both taking good set pieces).
If he’s willing to give Patterson minutes at RB, I’d stick with the current setup with McNeil on the right. Patterson provides natural width and allows McNeil to drift infield and try to line up throughballs or long shots, which is all he’s ever going to do given his extreme one-footedness.
I say all this but I know he’s going to put McNeil back behind the striker as soon as he can which is a bit dogshit since he really only plays in one direction.
I think that would work with McNeil cutting in leaving room down the line for Patterson to get to the byline unfortunately seeing dyche for 2 years now all the signs point to the same trusted shite

I think it's a piss take having a 39 year old as or main right back, but putting a 54 year old on the right wing is another level....

There's a strong arguement for NSNO starting to take the Bank Holidays and closing the site on them, give everyone a bit of a break.
