He's got to go and go tonight. Make that call tonight Friedkins.

Everything/anything positive that Dyche originally brought to the table has now gone. None of the good characteristics are left on terms of the set pieces, decent direct passing and pressing. I just see nothing positive in his defence.

That has to be the final straw today. Have to sack him this weekend to allow someone more able to come and coach this side and hopefully bring in one or two in January, money permitting.

How do you only have 1 shot on target over the course of 2 football matches. It’s absolutely embarrassing. That takes some doing that.
Friedkin needs to step up now. Not slow to wield the axe at Roma and I’m afraid it’s going to have to happen now.

I'm not trying to have a pop, but the hyperbole is in part why this thread goes around in circles.

He's blatantly not the worst we've had given the mess we were in last season and absentee owners. That was a really tough situation and he navigated it well with all that was going on.

More than fair to say this season hasn't been nearly good enough though.

Limited manager, limited squad is what this all comes down to for me. He's a reflection of everything that's gone on before with the overall lack of investment, structure and planning that's befallen the club. Until we start investing in the right way though, him staying or going is just shuffling chairs on the titanic. Managerial and playing staff wise the quality is lacking.

I have huge respect for what he achieved last season.
This season he was clearly spooked by Bournemouth at home and Villa away. His response has been to basically paralyse us as an attacking force so we don’t ship goals when we lose the ball in transition. He can’t appear to get beyond that in any way. That will be his downfall.

Bet you anything the first thing a new manager does is put Ndiaye in the number 10 role. It's so blindingly obvious that he should be playing there

Still don't get this shout, why would you put a dribble machine who's not good at passing in the 10?

Lindstrom would be far more suited.

Although both of them as dual tens is the magic combo imo, best of both worlds.

He could have walked out 12 months ago with Everton fans genuinely grateful for what he's done. He's ruined that this season and he can't really blame anyone but himself. He's intentionally set this team up in a manner that can't yield anything but minimal gain results with poor football. He'll be talked about like Allardyce and Benitez and that's a shame

The only thing I'm banking on is that TFG play their cards very close to their chest.

Don't give interviews, rarely give much away then bang, an appointment or sacking.

Hoping the same here, it will likely come out of nowhere.
