Big Dobbo

Surprised to see him come off the bench ahead of Danjuma but can't complain about the quality of that strike. Made up for him.

Also, can anyone think of a player with a shirt number higher than 61 to score for us?

Said to my kid 'oh god Dobbin's coming on, he's not very good'... Was absolutely delighted that he made me eat my words.

Was a very composed finish given the enormity of the situation for such a young kid having an opportunity to score his first Everton goal... Great stuff.

Loved the celebration. Elation, emotion, very raw.

Happy for the lad, hopefully he can continue to contribute this season.

Dobbin's goal and celebration was one of my favourite moments of the last few years. Just shows how little there have been!

The players were absolutely delighted for him (as well as the crowd), and it actually showed how the squad's confidence and happiness can rub off positively onto a young player. He smashed that ball like he knew he would score.

Moments of genuine pure joy are quite rare to see nowadays. But that was as real as it gets - loved it.

I love these vids. I liked how Onana kinda lost it for a second and looked like he couldn’t control his limbs. McNeil is a proper lad and just loves it. Big JB really pumped the gas to go celebrate with them too. Wish we had a Pickford angle in it though.

I spoke with him after the match. He was absolutely buzzing. Great kid. Very happy for him and it sounds like he's doing the right things in training to get his chance.

Honourable mention goes to Gana giving Doucoure a kick in the arse.

I'm 6-1-1. I think we know the solution to Everton's woes: Have more Americans go to matches. Or just us two.
