Re: Beto
We shouldn't be letting anyone go if we're not planning on bringing someone else in ASAP.
Just can't trust Broja to stay fit. He's a bonus if he works out.

Re: Beto
Radio Merseyside mebtioned Tarks having a go. But that happens in games so I don't know if it counts as calling him out. But the implication was that Tarks thought he could have been doing more.
Re: Beto
Tarks, but mainly Picks, he was berating him a lot when he wasn't holding the ball up, or contesting it better, and was also remonstrating to the management when he had goal kicks and Broja wasnt going to the right sides to receive.
Probably worth adding that there appeared to be a lot of discontent amongst a lot of the squad, Picks was doing similar with Mangala too

Love these translated Italian articles:
Torino, Beto is close: the figures and the formula with which they are negotiating with Everton
A helping hand to Torino 's asphyxiated attack could come from England. In fact, the Granata are close to Beto , now a separated person at Everton . The adventure in Liverpool of the former Udinese player was - we can now say it - a fiasco. Bought for 25 million in the summer of 2023, Beto has always been a reserve for Calvert-Lewin, he has never found continuity and, consequently, has found the net very few times. This season, the counter is stuck at 4 in 15 games played in all competitions. In the Premier League, above all, it has only been a matter of snippets, too little for a striker with the urge to eat up the pitch like him and who, so far, has had to bite the bullet.
THE FORMULA - Beto is pushing to return to Italy where he has shone and wants to relaunch himself with Torino, who, without Zapata , really needs a player like him. In short, the desires coincide but the economic balance must also be found. The Friedkins have recently taken over the Toffees and are now preparing for a market of changes, between January and then in view of June. For this reason, the right formula to go to bed with Toro could be to set up a loan operation that becomes an obligation based on certain circumstances.
THE FIGURES - The English would be willing to set the obligation around a dozen million, plus bonuses . The goal is to reach that fateful 15 quota for which the Portuguese would be very willingly shown the door. Even with Sean Dyche, in fact, Beto has not relaunched himself and could do so by retracing his steps. The sports director Vagnati , recently confirmed at the Turin desk, studies the right thrust and prepares the offer that should not differ too much from the English requests. With the Casadei idea that is becoming more and more concrete, the January market could really turbocharge Vanoli's team.

Re: Beto
Right well he's staying that much is clear.
Massive opportunity to make a name for himself in the prem now.
He is what he is, which thankfully looking at the positives - great athlete, big, strong, fast, full of running, will bustle and bully and give any CB a tough day. Doesn't give you a moments peace. I do also think he is a pretty good finisher. I think if we can create some chances for him in the box he's going to bury some. Can play on the shoulder or can play as a channel runner target man just not as well as Dom because his all round play is poor.
We're going to see some crap control, we're going to see him laying it off to the opposition CMs quite often. We're going to see him trying to spin behind a defender who then calmly chests the ball down and plays on, we're going to see some wild pot shots that endanger the local tawny owl population, and we're going to see lots and lots of pointless fouls that hand momentum back to the opposition.
We have to just get behind the big fella now, massive opportunity but also a massive challenge. Fingers crossed for him that he can take a bit of a leap in development because no matter what any of us think of him we need him over this stretch.
