West Ham have had their share of managerial changes. It still counts when you keep bringing the same bloke back.

Re: Next Everton Manager
I am sure there are better options than Graham Potter anyway.
His win ratio is not impressive its pretty much the same as David Moyes ratio.
Would like us to go for a German high pressing manager and Stuttgart's manager should by all means be a possible option for a Premier League club like Everton to attract.

Re: Next Everton Manager
tbh ive never really rated potter, he had a great season with brighton then slumped at chelsea with all the " superstars " so, for a team like us who need to pick results up quickly, i'm not too sure
personally, i think moyes till end of season if he will take it ( with an option )

I like the sound of him.TrevorSteven wrote: ↑Wed Jan 08, 2025 10:34 pm I am sure there are better options than Graham Potter anyway.

We'd need a signing or two to make it work this season though, judging by that video.
E.g.
Pickford
Patterson Tarkowski Branthwaite NewLB
Mangala NewCM* Gueye
Ndiaye DCL Broja
*could be Doucoure but I'd rather not.
Or....
New LB and new winger with pace, could also work.

Sky saying West Ham spoke to fonseca and galtier as well and chose potter loads of options out there just need to pull the trigger
Re: Next Everton Manager
Difference between loads of options and loads of good options. Personally, I think Fonseca flatters to deceiveKerryblueboy wrote: ↑Thu Jan 09, 2025 8:09 am Sky saying West Ham spoke to fonseca and galtier as well and chose potter loads of options out there just need to pull the trigger

A lot of these options mentioned would be ideal for the big summer reset.
Again, really angers me how badly dyche has done this year. He should have had us comfortably mid table.

Re: Next Everton Manager
if we had got potter as manager huge risk - every manager u appoint is always a risk i suppose
davy moyes on short term contract would suit us
but i dont think he is keen for a relegation battle

Re: Next Everton Manager
Moyes or Carsley for me. Probably Moyes (as depressing as it is) just because I think Carsley would take longer to get going and we probably can't afford that.
Would 18 months or even 2 and a half years under Moyes be the worst thing?
Would actually have Rohl or Carrick but can't see them happening.

Re: Next Everton Manager
Seems to be a real split between people who want the short term fix, the project, or the Hollywood name.
