He's shit but only a Kanchelskis or someone of that ability could look good playing out wide for us. You simply can't underestimate how important an overlapping fullback is to a team and we aren't playing with any

Exactly. Imagine Pienaar with Mykolenko.

I know Mykolenko overlaps more than Young but Ndaiye is playing the same role as Harrison and performing 1000 times better so it's not just the system that makes Harrison look so unbelievably bad.

He's playing well though and impacting the game in a way Harrison isn't. If you compared the 2 there'd be a strong argument for one being one of our best players this season and the other being the rank worst. That's not purely tactical.

Decent return considering that his main jobs are helping the fullback and carrying the ball out of his defensive half.

Bonus points for a doing it in a side that barely scores open play goals.

The only goal we have scored in the last 4 games is the one at city, and coleman was the right back he actually got past the halfway line numerous times and was something of a threat and was involved in the goal.
It has been mentioned so many times before how important the modern fullback is to attacking play, and young and myko offer the square root of fuck all in that respects

I feel for young, as I don't think he can physically perform that role for 90 mins, and he occasionally crosses well from deep.

Myko isn't capable of contributing from deep or with an overlap, and it's bad enough that other teams let us pass to him as they know it's a dead end.

Playing like a wounded dog that you just want to put out of its misery.

He’s always been a bit poor on the right, even worse now.

May well be the same story on the left but we should at least try him in his more natural attacking position if we want his pressing in the team.

Or not and he’s rarely heard from again. We’ll see.

Would give us the ability to move Ndiaye inside.

If I was Harrison I'd be banging on to Moyes about playing on the left. He looks completely demoralised on the right, the amount he tries to cut inside and lose the ball.

He doesn't have an overlapping full back, he has a ball down the line to Dom, inside to Doucoure, or take it infield with his left foot.

At least on the left he can just leg it and put a cross in.

He's pretty good and legging it, and has a good cross on him.

Him on the left at least as reserve for McNiel, N’diaye in the middle or Lindstrom and new RW. Forget Harrison on right and Doucourè as the 10. Done with it now.

He's done, no way is getting going again as a left midfielder.

Another one whose confidence is absolutely shot, he's better than he's currently showing but never going to be amazing, hard working squad player but at the moment he's totally gone.
