Hopefully in this window when we bring players in it is not because they will be cheap and available and therefore only offer a marginal improvement or even the same quality as we already have.

I know the pool of available players in Jan won’t be as wide as the summer but surely the scouting department will have identified individuals that we know will be a significant upgrade to what we have. We might have to be creative in how we pay for them within the PSR framework

Remember when Kenwright sat there all starry eyed after Martinez said "I'll get you Champions League", that's the kind of interview bollocks that people come out with and something Kenwright would love and fall for. I think it's both, average players coached how not to score which lowers confidence going forward is a recipe for no goals.
