We can only sign one player from a club on loan though, so can't be both.

I imagine to take Broja back they’re wanting us to take someone else.

It’s not the worst thing. They’ve got some very good players hardly playing.

Not sure dewsbury hall is that much of an upgrade though.

He looked decent in that last season for Leicester but then that’s the championship. I think he would up the level of what we have but that level isn’t particularly high anyway.

Just a different set up I suppose.

He is limited with what he can do though I agree, but did anyone want to see Harrison RW ever again? Why did that need tho happen?

I think he's looked at Dyche's set up and minutes played and gone right I'll just have a look, play them where they're used to being played and that'll tell me what I need to know.

It's fair enough, I just think that's what's happened.

I thought that, it's what you'd do to find out what you have before you start tinkering.

I really like Dewsbury-Hall. Think he would be a significant upgrade in technical and passing ability in the middle. Excellent at shielding the ball as well, and working in tight spaces. Would be similarish to an Arteta when he played in the middle for Moyes.

No shame that he can barely get in that Chelsea midfield at all. Big fan. Make it happen. Loan with an option to buy please.

yeah fair enough

Im in total agreement about dropping Harrison, theres no point to starting him, thats clear, get Armstrong in or give Lindstrom a proper go, hes generally creating at least one decent chance everytime he gets on the pitch inspite of being in and out all the time.

Im not sure theres a lot can be done about the shape of the team given whats at the managers disposal, for now IMO its about a few minor player selection adjustments, mindset and tactics within the well established set up eg the other night we were higher up the pitch and more front foot. Someone said on the blue room pod yesterday that if we play like that every game for the rest of the season we will stay up and I would concur with that, espcially if we can get a couple of decent attackers in

------------------- ------Pickford

Patterson-----Tarks----Branthwaite----Chilwell

------------------Lindstrom----Mangala

Big Ernie---------------Ndaiye-------------McNeil

-------------------------------DCL

Maybe not against better opposition but against teams down the bottom. Width with attacking full backs, 2 CMs comfortable on the ball, Big Ernie bringing the pace.

It's not defensively as sound but you control the game by controlling possession which compensates

Not sure about Lindstrom in midfield, but I agree that we can't have both Managal and Gueye together if we want to build good attacking play. We need forward thinking player who is good in possession.

Dewsbury-Hall maybe.

Yeah, it was but this is City and Chelsea, they can do what they want without fear of punishment.

5 years is just the limit for amortising the transfer fee. You can still sign longer contracts than that, certainly with second contracts not an issue.
