People (including me) talk about Pienaar but I'm seeing more and more of a younger Salah in him. Blistering pace, ridiculous control, great core strength, ability to skin 3 players with ease. Seems a strong finisher (though more evidence of that at Sheffield United). He could be one of the best players in the league one day.

Haven't been this excited about a player in a long time. Thelwell deserves a lot of credit getting him here on a contract to 2029.

I've been quietly thinking Salah for a while too, but decided to keep shtum until he did something like that. Might wait for a few more to go in before broaching it with a RS fan like.

Thing I really loved about that finish yesterday was you can see every bit of him straining to get his head and knee over the ball as he strikes it. I know it looked like he just smashed it but getting his foot round it and on target took some doing.

He needs to be near the opposition goal as much as possible, and that means in the box. If you can get him the ball into feet in the box, you really fancy him to make something happen.

Need this guy to chip in with 8-10 goals a season from midfield and things will look much rosier. Only 24 as well. So much more to come from him.

Don't see the Salah thing I wouldn't say but Salah is quite a unique player I don't know if I've ever seen anyone like him. Turbo charged almiron on steds.

Roadrunner who also only needs like an absolute fraction of the time and space anyone else on the planet needs to get a good shot off. Just pure speed of execution. Ndiaye is a scruffy but effective dribbler which Salah is and he's also a box striker which Salah is so maybe. Will watch with hope in my heart.

I definitely don't think Ndiaye is like Pienaar. Other than short sharp touches and stature and the fact he's an African guy on the LW for everton.
