with moyes coming back and seeing a small improvement against villa and then yesterdays performance i just feel like everything is going to be ok

i know many didnt want him to come back and wanted a potter type but for me at least i feel like we are finally going in the right direction

we are not going to suddenly beat everyone and there will be times we dont perform or we have to be defensive but i do feel like we finally have a manager who cares enough to demand certain standards are met and will try to win games

i feel 10 stone lighter today a massive weight thats been hanging over me has been lifted somewhat

i cant even describe in words the relief i feel atm
its like having a big poo.

It’s better than that - it’s like flushing one and it disappears first time, no tread marks in the bowl or anything.

Crazy to think Charlie Adam played professional football only a few years ago looking at that picture

That’s exactly what I was just thinking. Irvine is in tremendous shape for a 66 year old though.

Just goes to show, talent is out there if you know where to look.

Congrats to the recruitment team for managing this coup. Diamonds in the rough!

I assume if we score from a set piece it’ll be “well we scored from them before anyway so nothing to do with him”

And if we concede it’ll be “fucking shite, what’s the point of him”

Am personally not that arsed about him, if Moyes thinks he offers us somthing then I trust his judgement

It's not like Liverpool haven't got one of our former players as assistant manager

More setting (out) pies than set pieces.

I'm not that fussed about the kopite stuff.

More that has he ever coached set pieces?

He managed Fleetwood until December last year, after helping to get them relegated (yes I know he wasn't there all season but this is my narrative) for the first time in 10 years, before getting sacked after winning 6 games this season.
