The likes of West Ham will still be there in the summer.

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Love Moyes comments about DCL in the press conference for the BHA game. Struck a lovely balance between an arm round the shoulder, and a kick up the arse.

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Might make a cameo in the final match against Southampton but that's him and his Everton career imo.
Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Yeah he won't risk that effecting his move.
Let's get a striker in though in Jan.

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Yeah, it's a shame. Does look like he'll be out for a bit. Question is what we're going to do about the situation, are we going full Beto? Looked like he was on the way out the door at the start of the window. Or sell Beto still and bring someone else in?
In terms of DCL I'm sure he'll still have interested parties looking to give him a deal, no matter what, but it shows the precarious nature of the situation as it's possible (although hopefully unlikely) depending on the severity of the hamstring issue he could finish the season still injured and be in the market for a club. Probably not ideal.
Do we even have an offer on the table for him?

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Agreed. He had a decent spell for a short period of time, but overall I imagine he'll be one of those players that in 10 years time he'll turn up in the 'Forgotten Footballers' thread.
Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Gutted for him, looked like he'd finally be used properly, gets a goal and then 10 mins in to the next match he gets injured
. Didn't look a bad one though so expect 2-3 weeks out.
We absolutely can't go full Beto, he wasn't even jumping for half the balls Dom would potentially win, he doesn't hold it up and he's so erratic when he actually does get control of it. Did well to win the penalty and was obviously exhausted by the end, so he did what he always does in working hard, he's just not someone we can pin any hopes on to lead the line.

Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
He wasn't sprinting and it seemed to be when he jumped so might not be too bad.
Badly need a striker in now but his goals shouldn't be too hard to replace.

Dom’s fucked the shop window then. Expect he’ll sign another contract with us just before the start of next season
Re: Dominic Calvert-Lewin
Doubt that, we can't be the only club that takes a punt on an injured guy on a free. I mean, surely there's another club that's as badly run as we've been.
